We believe that the primary task of the church is to help people meet, and fall in love with God.
The followers of Jesus are to share His hope, love, and joy with the world. We must be light in the darkness.
Our church is a place to grow in your knowledge of God, and to follow Him in community.
We Believe...
...in one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1-2; Matthew 28:19; Matthew 3:16-17)
...in God the Father. All-powerful, eternal, and unchanging creator of all things. (Genesis 1:1; Acts 17:24-28)
...in Jesus Christ. He is the Son of God, God made flesh, and the Savior of the world. (John 1:1-14; John 3:16-17; Philippians 2:6-11; Colossians 1:15-19)
...in the Holy Spirit. He is God dwelling in believers, convicting sin, transforming lives, and empowering the church. (John 14:16-17; John 16:8-15; Romans 5:5; Romans 12:6-8; Galatians 5:22; Ephesians 1:13-14)
...the Bible is God's inspired word, and the final authority on all matters of faith. (Psalms 119:11, 105; Isaiah 40:8; Romans 15:4; 1 Timothy 3:14-16; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
...that men have willfully sinned and are without hope apart from Jesus Christ (Isaiah 53:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 3:23)
...that we are reconciled with God and redeemed by His grace, through faith in Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:24; Ephesians 2:8-9; 1 Peter 1:18-19)
...that all who claim faith in Christ should follow the biblical model of repentance, confession of Jesus, and baptism by immersion. (Mark 8:38; Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; Acts 17:30; Romans 6:1-7; Romans 10:9-10; 1 Peter 3:21)
...that we are to remember Christ by partaking of the Lord's Supper together. (Luke 22:19-20; Acts 2:42; 1 Corinthians 11:23-30)
...that scripture teaches a way of life which Christians are to follow. The Bible teaches appropriate methods for speech (no lying or gossip), finances (no greed or theft), expressing sexuality (only between a husband and wife), and many other areas of life. (Genesis 2:24; Romans 1:18-31; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; Galatians 5:19-21; James 3:9-12; 1 Peter 4:2-4)
...that the church exists to build God's Kingdom through love and truth. (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; 2 Corinthians 5:18-20; Philippians 2:15)
...that Jesus will return someday to judge the world and take the faithful to be with Him. (1 Corinthians 15:51-53; 1 Thessalonians 5:1-4; 2 Peter 3:1-4; Revelation 22:20)
